Solution?

A g/f and a set of earplugs.  You can happily snooze away knowing your lady friend will gently wake you up in the morning with far more subtlety than either an alarm clock or the sound of Chris Moyles's voice at 07:30 Am.

Actually it takes some trial and error to find a g/f with the correct technique of waking you up, but the selection process can be fun.

A "top tip" from none other than Tom Jones was to liberally "freshen up" with Listerine first so that the lady is presented with an agreeably minty erm...  Well you get the picture.

How about single malt scotch?  These are often brewed by small distilleries with natural ingredients and are a thoroughly agreeable taste.  I can't stand most blended whiskeys, but single malts seem to go down a treat.
