Frightening isn't it...  I remember my parents buying an A501 back in 1990 for £90 (UKP).  Ninety rubs for 512 KILObytes of memory...  And I remember being impressed at how large a whole Megabyte was.

Within a year you could pick up a half meg expansion for under £40.  Doh!
