Driving. Does it really bring out the MONSTERS in us???

Yup, bad driving usually brings out the hooligan in me too, although I've learned to control my annoyance.

I hate losing my temper at any time and I've had one or two nasty experiences with road rage (including one guy - with no driving license or insurance who got so mad at me because I was obeying 30mph speed limit that he caused an accident!), so I try and ignore my anger.

If someone is on a mission to cause an accident then I don't want to be part of it.

There are places on Britains roads where 70mph is ridiculously slow and others where 20mph is suicidally fast.  Often people don't appreciate this, they'll drive at a blanket 45mph everywhere and then complain when they get zapped for speeding.

A good maxim is "drive as fast as you can see", if you're coming up to a sharp and obscured bend on a narrow lane then plan ahead as sooner or later someone will come punting around it at warp speed.  Always paln for the worst and be aware of what's around you.

Oh and one last thing.  STOP HOGGING THE MIDDLE LANE OF THE MOTORWAY!

Has anyone mentioned caravanners?

You'll be happily driving along a single carriageway on a windy road somewhere when all of a sudden you'll be stuck behind one of Satan's Portakabins with no way past.

Only rarely do they ever pull aside and let traffic through.
These selfish idiots pay the same road tax as the rest of us and are responsible for causing absolute mayhem.  

I think they should quadruple road tax for caravans and ban them from the roads between the hours of 02:00 AM to 24:00 PM....
