a revision 9 buster chip isn't going to be too much of a problem. i used a CV64/3D in a rev 9 buster A4000 for a long time with ethernet and GVP scsi, for a time and didn't have any problems. and CGX4 is worth paying for over CGX3. just for the speed ups.
however, if you can get a ver11 buster then life will be a little easier with regard to things like A2091 cards and ZorroIII PCi adapters.
