i'd have said yes, as CC0: is set as bootable. mate of mine had a zappo PCMCIA 470Mb hard disk that plugged in the A1200's side port and xfered at 2.8Mb a sec!  :-o  :-)

PCMCIA is like IDE, a butchering of the ISA slot spec, so the two aren't that different... its why the A1200 and A600 have PCMCIA slots. build the IDE controller, and get a PCMCIA slot for free, or the other way round.

which is why i am surprized no PCMCIA slot adapter has appeared for the A500 yet :-? (not that i'd have a hope in hell of doing something like that myself)

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD

yeah, but i was thinking the ide68k adapter mimics the A600 ide straight off the A500/2000's 68000 cpu socket... next logical step? pcmcia? i unno. the two are architecturally similar. just thought it might be an easy network interface...?
