hold on a second,
what kind of software are you trying to run?
if it needs workbench.library, then would it not be running in workbench off of a hard disk with workbench.library on it? IDE or SCSI whatever...

games don't need librarys, most applications are fairly self contained, so the only thing i can think of is you are trying to re-install workbench, but have not got a disk with workbench.library on it?

whats going on to cause you this much grief?

and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD

hmm, relokick has nothing to do with the onboard roms apart from softkicking the machine from a different area of memory (usually holding much older, say 1.3 rom images).
i've run relokick on my old A4000T many times till i found WHDload, without any problems...
but any other roms wouldn't know about the A4000T's onboard SCSI, less than version 3.x wouldn't know about the onboard IDE or high density floppy drive, less than version 2.x would have problems with 040+ software...

doesn't solve this one though...

i take it everything is pressed in firmly, CPU card, roms, simms etc?

your other A4000's and A1200, are they on 3.1 roms too?
