no it hasn't changed. i got one end of last week. it is four rom sockets to rise the height of the fastata over the motherboard.

unfortunatly. i can only fit one pair of rom sockets in a desktop machine before the front rom on the fastata is actually lifting up the keyboard.

however, i would recommend a bvision kit as standard with the fastata, even if you only fit one pair of rom sockets as it makes for a much better and more solid / reliable installation of the fastata

ok, i'll take some snap shots tonight... i won't take the fastata board off, as i am out of cable ties  :-(

basicly, take the roms off the A1200, push the extra rom sockets into their place, push the fastata board onto the rom sockets, lock down with cable tie. put roms onto fastata board. done.

the blue cardboard is just for shipping to protect the rom sockets, as they are shrinkwrapped to it. the other thing is a replacment ribbon cable to go between the fastata board and the socket that clips over the gayle (i think) chip on the mainboard. - if you need it.

i could only fit one pair of rom sockets in a desktop case. i havn't got a PPC card to see if this is going to still be a problem with my BvisionPPC...  :-)
