yeah i ended up selling my A4000T,
CybPPC, CVPPC, CV64/3d, Digital Broadcaster32, sunrise AD516, hydra network card, vlab y/c, 4x Ultra Scsi9.1Gb's etc etc. to keep the debt collectors of my back to clear the loan on my car, that two months after i bought it, cost me my licence (speeding), so i couldn't even drive the damn thing that i had to sell up to pay for in the first place. argh!

just wasn't able to pony up the dough to pay for rent, food, etc, and take the loans company to court. b'stards.

i ended up selling the whole shebang for a third less than i paid for the digital broadcaster.

no wait hang on. i remember. my mum needed some cash at the time to pay for some plane tickets she'd orded, as she hadn't bin paid. i got suckered with the ol' "i get paid on friday" crap and gave her 400 (half the cash i got from the A4kt) quid for the flight... which i never saw again. even with my impending loans company legal action... GOD DAMN! i'm all p155ed off now.

also regret selling my 1988 1.3 A500. OS3.1, M-tec 28Mhz 020, 4Mb 32bit fast, nova IDE adapter, (helped the M-Tec sit over the megachip 2Mb chip ram), A570 CDrom, 120Mb internal 2.5" drive. man that was a sweet machine. even faster than my mates A1200's when they all upgraded from A500's ;)

oh btw, that car.. the loans all paid off. turns out they were cashing the cheques and not keeping records of them, so i hadn't defaulted, and there was no reason for them to get the debit collectors involved. anyway, its up for sale.

1992 Jaguar XJS, 4.0Ltr straight 6, 300+ break horse, british racing green with oatmeal doeskin leather and walnut interior and trim, not even broken 70,000 miles.
full service history, POA.

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD

heh, was gonna get an 82 Corvette with a blowered 454, but got the jag instead. got a 5.3ltr V12 in the garage for it that i was gonna take out to 8.4 or 9.1ltr with quad cam heads, but seriously need to sort out the suspension for the front end as the cars with 12's used to go through front bushes like petrol.

what can i say, i like lazy comfy cruisers...

As for the Jag, good luck with the project, and I thought having 8 plugs was a pain, lol. The Rodders here seems to be using Volvo back ends more and more, the simplicity and strength of a solid rear axle seems to appeal more than the 'bling' of IRS these days ... and serious cars would quite often bend/snap Jag halfshafts as they were never designed for 700hp and 33" slicks.

thanks :) the XJS is really going to be an engine test bed / fun street car as the engine (finances over the course of my entire life permitting ;) ) is going to go into an XJ13 build (mid engine, getrag 6speed box rebuilt to handle the power, lemans thing) with totally updated guts (6pot brakes, door handles that are NOT pieces of wire etc etc.) but again, that is all pie in the sky stuff... but hey, i can dream.
