However keep in mind if you want to take your A2000 to the extremes (060, hi-end GFX board) and you are not an A2000 fanatic you would be better of with another Amiga like A1200 or A4000.

He already has an A1200, so it seems it's an extra for him.

Pieter (ElZorro), I have bought an A2000 myself a little while ago and have added some goodies to it. I like the 2000 a lot because of the possibilities you have when it comes to expanding it. The amount of cards you can fit inside is extraordinary. Another plus for me is the fact that most chips are socketed and therefor easy to replace.

All in all, the A2000 is a very nice machine. If you can lay your hands on one, go for it. Beware though: as soon as you can get one, remove its battery as it will most likely have started leaking and thus, in time, will damage the motherboard.

Todolist for my A2000: find a networkcard and a SCSI-harddrive.  :-)
Life sucks. Then you die. Then they throw mud in your face. Then you get eaten by worms. Be happy it happens in that order... My Amiga 1200
