@DaveP it may have a bad reputation among hardline amiga camp ppl (because this site isnt pulling punches anymore) ...but overall its reputation is that of a moderate site. go on ann.lu/moobunny/etc and ask them about Amiga.org... see what they think of it. My guess? the people you'll find who hate this site are generally angry about people not supporting amiga IMO... thats sad...but true... if you want this site to support amiga verbatim your gonna need to get up alot of money, buy it, start kicking and banning people left and right...and live with your microbase of users posting very miopic posts mainly about classic amiga questions. This site reflects its users and maybe thats the problem...nobody micro manages it and nobody "really' censors it... users submit news, users post int he forums, companies with money pay for add space, etc etc etc.... if you consider it biased maybe its the community that is biased and not the site!.... Ann/Moobunny/etc all have the same type of flamewars/bickering/etc that this site has.

Jose maybe you prove my point for me... but I will respond to that and say that this site is not a dictatorship its a democracy... or maybe just an oligarcy?... there are many moderators here...some support Pegasos/MOS, some support A1/AOS4...and some dont care about either... they do not moderate just for the hell of it... the pro-amiga.inc threads have died down...maybe thats not the moderators fault? if you dont post them...they dont exist...and therefore cannot be moderated away or left alone...

Some moderator may have made amigaworld a swear word...as a goof... because to some  its become the antithesis of this site  to some degree (I personally dont believe it has, its just a place for folks interested in Amiga.inc products alone) ...or percieved as such (the whole debacle of mass exodus)... but it dosent prove this site is biased in any way.

Now either Amiga.org is the place where blue and red camps can have a meeting of minds and get on constructively or it is seen as the place where if you want to talk about OS4 or A1 you have to wade through pages of jeering trolls and MorphOS/Pegasos ads from the same very small ( about 5 nicknames ) number of activist users.

I really do see your point...but if you go to moobunny/ann or pretty much anywhere except amigaworld.net... you will see plenty of anti-amiga.inc posts by what you might define as trolls...(I dont define most as trolling)...basically if you zoom your camera in and just watch this site...you see them as the persecuted because so many people are against the red side (red bieng amiga.inc product followers)...but if you zoom out and view as a whole... most sites these days in our little community are populated by many who feel jaded by amiga.inc and are vocal about it (not the same little group but many people from many places)

now about this amigaworld.net issue... if you believe the rumors about mass exodus (I do) then I think this site bieng used as free add space for them is wrong... sure we could sit back and be the bigger guy for a while but bottom line is...its useing amiga.org's bandwidth to feed amigaworld.net hits...

the moderators are people to, some of them have very solid reasons for not trusting amiga.inc and moderating away news items that are deemed stupid  by the majority (democracy in action) of people here... I pretty much dont see any bias in moderators... can you give some examples of what they have done that went against the majority of users here? what exactly did they do?... I mean... you gotta have some irrefutable examples of obvious bias.
