well, I can't say about CF cards, as I haven't used them. But I can say that I have had HDD and CDROM's on both my 4000's and my 1200T, with no buffered IDE interface for years with no problems. (apart from an IBM DeathStar drive failing on me  :-x  ) Have heard conficting reports from people about buffered interfaces being needed..

But termination? Thought that only SCSI needs termination, or am I mistaken (as I often am  :lol: )
