No idea mate, whatever the browser is on it.  Its supports JS and thats about it

Not suprissing given the nature of the hardware,.  Though i am supprised how it ran.

Useful for some things but not as a general browser

Apparently the Kindle uses a webkit browser.

Its also free all over the world through the free 3g on the kindle.

Your missing the point.  The kindle is desgined to be electronic ink on paper.

Battert lasts a montjh, if wireless off.  You can read it in direct sunlight ,  it does not tire out your eyes anymore than reading a book unlike an Ipad .

Backlight reflective screens are just not good for reading for hours on end.

Only had the kindle since saturday , great bday present from the wife.

I read loads as I spend 2 and half hours a day travelling back and for to work.

Own hundreds of books. Must say I love the kindle. And the free books are welcome

Wasn't sure if it would get in the way, but it doesnt like, good tech you forget your reading on a device rather than a book. Its so much easier for reading in bed, got the case with the light also :)

E-ink is awesome and they are working on colour with better refresh rates.

The latest kindle is a lot faster and lighter than previous version from what ive read.

Cant fault it. It also auto syncs across devices so if your reading kindle books on your android device or ipad or pc then your kindle will carry on from where you were and vice versa

also does audio books, mp3,s pdf , word etc etc

Free 3g forever across the world kicks arse

Im going to shut up now lol
