here. There are some jumpers to setup (although they must be set by the previous user). They change the luminosity (signal intensity) if you use the SD out or the CV3D out for the video signal.
As for the CGX, check your RTG-s/w version and OS version: Old CGX versions don't boot with newer WBs (you have to skip the exec.library ROM-Update).
