MCP 1.30 Versus MultiCX 2.80

Which is generally considered to be the best, has the most features, and is most compatible with OS3.9?

For example, MultiCX 2.80 running in OS3.9 still shows the Workbench version as 3.1, and the "Extended About Information" doesn't work either. I have never tried MCP before. I am also a bit dubious about using programs to patch later versions of an OS than the version they were intended for. Might it produe system instability?

Many thanks,

Steve.

Cheers, I didn't even realise that MCP was still being updated! The latest version on Aminet is 1.30, dated Sept 1997, but I've just done a google search and found a version 1.41 dated 14/12/2002. Is this the latest version?
