r it has never thrashed anyones rdb (on an legal way anyway)

How would you know ? Blaming the USB-card on a PCI-expansion doesn't
come natural when you just had a fatal HD-error ...

Fact is, the nature of AOS makes it absolutly possible that the code can be triggered
by any piece of buggy SW (and there is more than enough of that), and this made
it inacceptable (putting aside that it is actually a criminal offence in some countries).
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

@lempkee
Does this feature do any more harm,than being just annoying ?

Don't think so.

Does it stop Elbox-HW from working ?

Probraly not.

So it is just a lame and childish joke, nothing more.

And again, just because you haven't heard off anybody having RDB-troubles, does NOT
mean it didn't happen. Or do you really think anybody would have blamed the USB-driver
for a HD-crash (before the affair went public) ?

@lempkee
And people keep telling that I am a troll ......

The Elbox-code DOES trash the RDB, and thats been prooven.

One might discuss how likely it is to be triggered while in normal use, but
the cheer possibilty can't be discussed.

You case of someone having drives called "Elbox" and "Elsuxx", is a bit far of,
come up with something better if you want to claim it is actually more than a lame
joke.

Bout the Pegasos, what has this do with it ? Do you know if and when the "cookie"
gets activated ? Do you really think any sane person would make a plattform-descion
based on it ?
