It was an insider-deal, and IMO both side had an interest in inflating
the (publicly known) amount.


AInc looked bigger than they were.
GateWay could minimize the loss in the Amiga-adventure in
front of their shareholders.

Lots of inventive book-keeping is and has been done in such situations.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Read McBill's depo, they are completly ou of money.

The only thinks that kept AInc alive in the last 2 years was the lack of
someone prepared to waste a bullet in an act of mercy :-o
