my guess:
probs with the power on the gfx-card.

try putting it in a different zorro-slot.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

You said you tested AGA,but did you do it via the passthrough on the CV64
or was the monitor connected directly to the mainboard ?

Are all 3 colors affected in the same way or are some worse/better ?
