And by the time someone has finished the driver, you will also
get a R300 at that price ...

It's basiclly the same problem as it was back then with the Zorro-
GFX-card. They were always outdated when the finally went on sale.

Start with 1 or 2 high-end chips NOW, and by the time the driver is
finished, they will have become affordable.
