Interview with Thendic France and Petro Tyschtschenko
« on: April 18, 2002, 11:43:11 PM »
There is a very interesting article/interview on Amiga-News.de
Check it out ...

1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Hi redrumloa

Quote
where they do everything to state that this IS the next generation Amiga, just not official.

It's just like OS/2(-Warp) was the next generation of Windows_3.1.
Win95 was the official successor, but was it realy better ?

When i started on the Amiga i was fascinated by the games.
It was the OS and it's nice API that got me hooked.
I newer was into this "bash ATARI/M$" or "Jay Miner/Dave Haynie
is god" thing that i hear from so many people.

When Gateway has their QNX- and Linux-plans i was interested but
still suspicious if it would be "Amiga" for me.

When AInc told us that "Amiga" now meant DE i said "sort of" as
it has nothing to do with my view of what is an "Amiga".

Amithlon/MorphOS/AROS are "Amiga" to ME as they share
the same principles and ideas as the original OS.
Couldn't care less about the name.
