This might be true if and when the prices drop, but atm the average age is surely over 20.
There aren't that many parents make such expensive gift, and there are next to no teenager actually earning that kind of money themselves (well atleast not legally :-o ).
Would it make sense ? Well lets say sales would be a little less marginal as they would be bundled with usual range of vaporware.....
