Rip-off-price ??

I must say that this is the 1st (new) Mac in the last 10 years that has bang/buck-ratio good enough to get me tempted.

The only "bad" thing is the GFX-card, but I downgraded my Athlon from GF2 to Matrox-Millenium, so I don't expect that to hurt me ... and I have a PS2 to play games.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Dunno bout swedish prices, exchange rates or VAT, but the base modell is 1369 Euro including german VAT.

A 17" LCD is about 300 Euro, and a x86 including WinXP is atleast 500Euro.

O.k. still cheaper, but you would have to endure XP, miss all the SW Apple bundles with the Mac, and it might be questioned if the PC has the same quality as the Mac.

The price is fair for what you get.
