I'm going to go with "because AmigaKit's website is written to like, 2006 web standards". I mean just look at the product pictures - they're like 100x100 thumbnails. On another thread someone specifically said they'd decided not to purchase an item (in this case it was an Indivision ECS) until they saw the much superior photos I'd posted on this forum. If my two year old camera phone takes better pictures than a "professional website" that's saying something.

Just kidding, it's like one or two guys operating the thing. I'm sure they have better uses for their time than taking product photographs or updating their site.
