I hope this means more development, but we all know how Jens does on his software.  :(

...rushes to download the last release of P96 "Unofficial" before it gets taken down, just in case...

Which one would that be? I grabbed a package from the Apollo/Vampire website, I assume that would be the latest?

I don't know anything about what software is available on the Apollo/Vampire website, so it's quite possible whatever you have may be newer. Care to share? ;)

Afaik this is the latest version: http://lilliput.amiga-projects.net/Picasso96.htm

Not recommended. This version had a couple of problems, and it's not advisable. There is a version in Aminet you had to register that worked fine.

It's also 15 years newer than the version on Aminet. Works fine for me. Ymmv. ;)

What are the "couple of problems"?

(as IF there is significant profit potential in the Amiga market).

I'd pay $100 bucks for an updated version of Ibrowse.
