Info on controller:
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/impact2000hc8(GVP has many different names for their controllers - I'm assuming it's this one based on the title of your post. You should probably confirm exact model)
Info on ROM's:
http://babel.de/amiga.htmlObviously the Guru-ROM is the most desirable but they are rare and require a PCB adapter. A guy on Amibay was making & selling them last year. The next-best ROM version is 4.15, "tjlazer" was selling these on ebay pretty frequently. I've owned a bunch of these GVP cards, you'll need the latest ROM's (if you don't have them already) to support removable media.
FaaastPrep is horrible software, especially with any drive larger than a few hundred MB. Recommend 3.1 to use HDToolbox, if you're determined to give it a go with 2.1 try HDInstTools:
http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/hdinstObviously you'll need to have the proper cables to physically connect these drives to your Amiga, as well as any terminators, jumpers, set SCSI ID's appropriately, etc.
