It's very photogenic. Alongside the A500 and A3000. The others, not so much, IMHO.

How does one make good use of such a resolution?
Would one use a monitor of the same aspect ratio?

Super hires laced. AFAIR it was good for video titling (less jagged edges on screen fonts), and a few productivity apps. Also looks pretty slick the time or two I tried it on a modern, widescreen monitor (something that didn't exist in 1990, LOL). Otherwise things look tall and skinny on a 4:3 screen.
