Using Amiga mode promotion utilities (video)
« on: December 31, 2015, 02:10:48 AM »
So I was talking to someone about mode promotion utilities a couple months ago, and I promised I'd make them a video.  Unfortunately I can't remember who that was, but here you go anyway.  I'll just stick this here.  :)

Enjoy, or not.  ;)  Cheers!

Congrats bud, I'm sure he'll do a great job on your repairs.  And you're just taunting those guys over on the Miggy thread there, aren't you?

I've only ever used ModePro, and it does everything I can imagine regarding config options.

So Yeah, 'Go ModePro, go ModePro!'

After 10 minutes of fighting with it, I couldn't figure out how to get ModePro to even promote one single screen.  10 minutes is too long in my book so I went back to NewMode, since I remembered it from the '90s.   I'm sure it's all good once you get familiar with the interface, I do know ModePro has a lot more capabilities, lol.

So, I made a sequel.  Guy asked me about adjusting screenmodes with P96.  Easier to make a video than type six paragraphs.  ;)

Sorry for the rambling, I was drinking Bacardi rum when I recorded this.  Happy new year!  :pint:

Hi Mike,  I was the one asking about Mode promotion.  Just viewed the video and
wanted to thank you for taking the time.  It was excellent, and terrifically informative.

Awesome!  Glad I could help you guys!  :)
