I think C= / Escom sold over 6 million Amigas, total.  Of those I'd bet better than 95% are thrown away by now and/or broken beyond repair, battery damage, etc.  Here in the states it can be months for even a single A1200 to show up on ebay, and when they do they sometimes go for even more than they were sold when new.

Almost every day I see posts from people desperate for parts to keep their Amiga's running, then you'll have someone pop up who has like 35 of the same model... well geeze, couldn't these two get together?  The person with dozens of them and the person desperate for parts?  You know the old saying, "you can't take it with you".  At least, that's what I think.
