Start by researching and reading the forums!

There's tons of info out there already, and expansion possibilities, ranging from old hardware to brand new stuff still being developed.  Look at some of the links posted on this site recently, such as links to stores that still sell Amiga hardware, and hardware databases.  Too many options to list in a single post.  ;)  Have fun!

If you have an 8372 Agnus (and not an 8370) go ahead and do one of the mods to convert that 512K of "slow-fast" memory in your trapdoor slot into chip mem.  1MB of chip and 8MB of fast (via something like the Kipper2K boards) will serve you a lot better than 512K of chip.
