Any chance you could change the font you use on your website ? It's nigh on unreadable!
Screen shots look good though :-)

+1 ;)

Watched part of the longplay, didn't want to spoil it too much though. Looks fun, hope it's playable on my A2000, why is Backbone sooo slow? :(

Looks really Nice!

P.S. I have a slight problem playing it on my NTSC A1200. The bottom screen is not visible and thus preventing me from seeing the danger areas.
Is this game made for PAL Amigas only?
Can you set the PANEL to the bottom instead the TOP, that would solve the problem.
Thanks

Boot in PAL mode via early startup?

Huh, the font looks different now.  Did you change it?  On my computer at home it looks normal in Firefox, but too tall and skinny in IE.  However on a different PC when I checked it a few days ago it was some nigh-unreadable cursive script.

Hi, I just tried out your games SuperTed and Smurf Rescue. Nice work!

Both worked fine on my A2000. SuperTed loaded and exited cleanly from Workbench. Smurf Rescue would not load from workbench (stopped at a grey screen after a second or so of disk activity), but ran fine when executed without Startup-Sequence. I noticed other Backbone games sometimes act the same way... I think it's a Backbone thing.

As others have said the bottom of the screen on both was cut off on NTSC systems. I didn't mess around with this very much to try to find any work-arounds. I did try the NTSC version of Smurf Rescue, the entire screen was visible just the panel was missing, like you said in your description.

Gameplay-wise the slow rate of fire in SuperTed kind of did it in for me. I didn't like it very much, then again I don't have any kind of nostalgia attachment to this theme I'm sure others do. I really enjoyed gameplay of Smurf Rescue though, but again as someone else said... the inertia could use some work. It was confusing figuring out how far to jump and not over-jump, or slide around. The graphics were great though and I loved your use of samples, I can definitely see myself playing this one more in the future, thanks again! :)

Now to catch up on my backlog of other Amiga programs I wanted to try out, LOL. ;)

I think it requires OCS and therefore only runs on real Amiga.

Probably because it's written in Backbone.  Doesn't MorphOS have some kind of E-UAE or JIT or something, to allow it to run original Amiga software?  Out of my experience here, I have no idea. But going out on a limb I'd say it has something to do with Backbone.
