Haha.  Maybe he thought he was local?  I've got one that I just tested, seems to work fine, but am hesitant to ship until I've finished testing the rest of the stuff it came with... based on previous experience shipping on these things runs anywhere from $30-$50, and if they get bounced too much they don't survive very well.  Have you checked your local craigslist, etc.?

Also, why a 1084?  That retro experience?  For an A3000 I'd look for a C= multisync monitor, or even a modern LCD or something.  ;)
