Very strange video inputs on 1084s

Commodore, in their infinite wisdom, made about 20 different models of the "1084", all of them with different connectors. The one you have there will work fine with your 23-pin Amiga video output, just need to source the right cable.

Edit: personally I'd recommend if you can fit it in your budget, get an Indivision and use a modern monitor. Just IMHO.

Amiga would use the 6-pin one, "lin RGB", at least with the cables I have.  I assume it's possible to use either one, just depending on which cable you get, LOL.  Commodore designed these things to be used with their entire range: C64's, C128, PC's, Amiga's, etc., and went with the cheapest suppliers, hence so many different connectors.
