Might work. You will need some kind of active adapter, not just a cable. Try it and post your results!
Of course you could also just get one of the new Indivisions and Kipper2k's HDMI cable and have a perfect display with all screen modes too, lol.

http://kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/Another option, doesn't your TV have a HD15 VGA input? Most TV's still do. You can always juse use the regular silver C= 23-to-15 adapter and try that. FYI, from past experience, plasma TV's make lousy computer monitors. Things that are supposed to be sharp and crisp (like text) look all blurry. Plasma is fine for movies and games I suppose, though. An LCD monitor or TV will look much better.
