I need something that works also on ndos games, so the indivision is not an option

This is probably a dumb question, and not a help with your PSU issue, but why do you say the Indivision wouldn't work with NDOS games? It takes the video signal right off the chipset and scan doubles everything, I've never heard of a game or program that it wouldn't be able to convert to 31KHz.  I own two of them and have zero issues with any software not displaying correctly on modern LCD screens.

Yes, the Indivision hits the Amiga directly at a hardware level and will mode-promote every 15KHz screenmode to 31KHz (unlike most video cards, for example), giving you a standard VGA (or DVI, with the newer models) output that you can plug into any modern monitor. The ECS version is pretty much bulletproof. The AGA version has a more sophisticated configuration tool for users trying to get maximum benefits from their card, that as I understand it is not very user-friendly. But if you decide to tweak the settings they're saved in the card's flash ram so they're there on boot-up. I think this is mainly for people trying to do exotic widescreen displays and whatnot, not for the casual user. Also keep in mind that people on this site just like to complain. :p :p
