I've never tried to run an IDE hard drive in my A2000 but have been considering it.  Can you post a link to more details on this mod?

Thanks!  I haven't ran into any power issues with mine (using various SCSI drives), but will be sure to check output with a multimeter before hooking up any IDE devices.  :)
