You missed the story. Petro T. was in charge of sales back during the Amiga Technology days. Apparently he sold (or swindled, depending which story you read) a shipping container full of A1200's to some company in India, probably to be turned into cheap character generators for studios, but who wound up never using them. They sat forgotten for 17-some-odd years, then he somehow got back in touch with the people who he'd sold 'em to (probably over beers at the pub), who remembered they still had 'em and agreed to sell 'em back. He then shipped 'em to Germany, and is now selling them on a first-come, first-served basis basically at his cost. It's a great deal for a NOS A1200 if you're able to get one, and most have been working well for people despite that they could have bad caps or any other manner of ailment which affects computers of this age. As for the brown residue? Who knows, probably curry powder or something, LOL.
