Go back into poseidon prefs and setup the device again and this time SAVE!

BTW, since you have a 3640 card in your 3000D...you might run into the dreaded 3640 issue

What buster version do you have?
Did you try the zorro2 jumper?
Are you going to use ad power via a 4 pin  cable?

What is that memory card below the xsurf?

In Poseidon prefs... Scroll down the messages as what is the newest?

BTW, the power should be off when you do this

sigh...it's on the xsurf card right above the BIG 100 print!
It comes in the zorro3 mode (the jumper block is just on ONE pin)

Pull it off...and push it on both pins...now it's in the zorro2 mode

Nice one, guys! It's stuff like this that really makes me miss user groups. I'm sure if you locked all of us into a room together we could have figured this out about 20 comments ago, lol.
Oscar is part of S.A.C.C.
He just prefers to use -ALL- the forums to solve his problems ASAP
He thinks it's faster, and NO driving. (he's not the only one... I get calls to solve issues alot)

You are right, it would have taken a lot less time, but I'm nor sure it's always better.
Chances are, we would have just set the jumper for him and he would still be hardware virgin. sigh

Open the Storage drawer, see the monitors drawer, open monitors drawer.
See all the options? Great.
Open the DEVS drawer, see monitors drawer...
Drag and drop the newer monitors options from the Storage/monitors drawer you want to the Devs/monitors drawer.

Open the Prefs drawer, open the screenmode icon. See more options?
You can test which work for you by just double clicking the icons in the Storage/monitors drawer and then testing in screenmode but to make the new monitor stay, you have to drag (or copy) it over.

Towering is another option and you can look for an A4000/3000 mediator as well. I'd post on Amibay asking for the 3000di version first.

I do see them for sale quite often.
And spending over $500 for all the parts he needed. (lol)

For a 3000D find a Picasso2 or Picasso2 Plus or Spectrum...all have pass thru to use with the built in 15 pin video port.

A Picasso4 is really better in a 4000 as it doesn't have the 15 pin port!

Ahhhh, I forgot about the CV64

Picasso 2 is Zorro 2 only.  I'd say a Spectrum, PIV, or CV64... of course with the exception of the Spectrum, those all go for over $500, when you can even find one.  :(

Don't forget!
He had to drop to zorro 2 because of his 040 card!

Thinking about, I would like to find a Picasso2 Plus card myself.
