Apart from Amiga stuff I have.

Sealed copies of various games inc.

Shenmue 2, Final Fantasy 7, 8 + 9, Mario Party & Mario Kart

Also have a couple of new unused N64s and Dreamcasts.

A few handheld special editions such as Zelda and Mario GBA consoles.

I used to have a whole lot more but I had to downsize, my mum would only accomodate so much in her attic when I moved to China.

That said i should be grateful she took some although she is always threatening to have a massive clear out :(

Slightly off topic but I regret selling my Amstrad GX4000 does anyone else have one thing they regret selling?

Hi i had a super nintendo, and sega mega drive and 3 amiga 500 with many games and stuff, i sold in the late ninties, i have regret that a lot.

I don't care if they are in the box or not, I just get them to play.

Sure it would be nice to have the maps and such but I can get the documents online if I get stuck in a certain area.

Yes of course the games them selfs is what it is about :-) i play on mine to, but a have a few that is new and sealed, i will not be happy to open them, but all others i play :-) how many do you have so far of nes games?

Yes. I can't remember the name right now but there was one that had a 16mhz 68000 that replaced the stock 8mhz 68000 and had a few chips to give it a CPU cache as well.[/QUO

I have a Atari st with black and white monitor, but i can not get it to play games or programs, when i try to play games the screen keeps geting black and it trys to load forever. I dont know why i cant get them to work, there is power on and the floppy drive works and workbench comes on.

You need a color monitor to play games on the ST. There are a handful of mono games but the mono monitor was used for DTP and MIDI applications mostly.

The accelerator I was thinking about is the Fasttech Turbo16. Here's an old article on ST accelerators that compares it to a couple of others.

http://www.atarimagazines.com/startv4n5/speed.html[/QUO

okay him i purchased it from only used it to midi and stuff. But i have purchased a special scart cable to connect it to my television, but that i cant get to work either. it is a shame because a paid some money for the atari st and purchased many games for it. are there something i should do before i can connect it to my television?

what i think is that in 10 years or so the old stuff will not work any more(most of it at least) and its best selling now, when it still is working and get a good price for it. also the younger generations dont care about our retro stuff, for them ps3 will be the retro thing. while most of the old geezers end up in retirement homes or be dead and stuff dont work anymore. i dont want ending up having the house full of stuff, that i will just have to drive to an desert and have it buried or throw it at an junkyard.

when it comes to prices it will go down fast on most of the stuff. but there will be a few crazy geezers willing to pay millions ofcoz. but in the end when they die, family and relatives will see it as junk and it will just end up in the junkyard. just look at tv pong machines and atari2600, 99% dont know what that is anymore. they see it as junk and most of the stuff dont work either. other problems is what are you gonna play it on?? the modern tvs you cant connect any stuff to them and if you can the picture/color is distorted, framrate out of synch and pixel hell, its just crap....

Yes i have been thinking the same, about the machines stop to work at one time, i have many computers and consoles, and i am now beginning to have some problems with the old ones, and also some games stop to work, so mayby it is just a question of time before they all stop to work

I maintain my machines to avoid them to fail, I bet my collection of home computers/consoles will work in 10-20 years.
You just have to give them some love ;)

Yes machines need love :-) but even if i am very good with them there are a few of them that gives me trouble, but it is mainly computer and consoles with cd roms, that gives problems. but i have a sega master system that is 25 years old that still work flawless :-)
