Exposed Copper Lacquer Necessary?
« on: September 12, 2012, 12:57:30 PM »
So after a long drawn out battery removal surgery, my amiga 2000 is working!! I did manage to expose some copper under the 68000 socket when my screwdriver slipped trying to remove the cpu for acid damage inspection.  I tried to use my chip puller, but the chip is too thick.... Anyway should I cover the exposed traces with some kind of lacquer to prevent corrosion? What should I use? I would prefer not to have to mess with it, but only if its safe to leave that way.
