@keropi:

The harddrive normally fits tightly between the piece of plate going over the Zorro dauthercard and the psu, so if your psu modifications has made it wider, there will not be enough room for the harddrive.

The SCSIPatch is not loaded until the first warmboot the csppc automatically makes, so at poweron, you will still get that 30sec delay unless you build something like this.

(edit):
In the CSPPC bootmenu, for the harddrive, set to "1 LUN", "8 Transfer Offset", "20MHz Sync Period" and "Synchron".

If you have it setto "Async/Synchron", I think you need to set the sync flag in the RDB, or else it will still run it in Asynchronous mode.

The CSPPC has a 2 second delay because of the SCSI controller per default. If you in the CSPPC bootmenu, click on ID 7 - the controller, you can set the "SCSI Reset Delay" to 0 seconds. Some crappy devices might have an issue with this, but I havent come across any.

Atleast on the latest pictures of your psu, it looked like the uhm, side-plate (cover) closest to the harddrive was kindof bent out a bit, which would make it wider.

Exactly in which way does the harddrive not fit? Just one or two mm wider psu and you will have issues. You could try moving the psu as much to the right as possible (away from the daughtercard) and the steel plate over the daughtercard as much to the left as possible. If their screws are loosened, they can ususally be moved left<->right a few millimeters, especially the psu.

Btw, check the edit in my last post.
