For PCMCIA nics, there exists three different drivers:
cnet.device (LAN)
3c589.device (LAN)
prism2.device (WLAN)
All of these requires
CardPatch to be run before the TCP/IP stack, unless you fancy reinserting your card every time you power off/on your A1200 to reset it. This utility resets the card, which the A1200 should do for each boot/power on, but doesn't do because of a bug.
