Not to be negative, but I will still be negative in this case: Using a Zorro2 ide-controller in an A3000 is blashpemy - it has a nice builtin dma scsi controller. If you want to use ide - get an acard ide<->scsi bridge from vesalia instead and use the builtin A3000 scsi controller. It will give you a fast harddrive with minimal cpuload and it not set you back more than ~5EUR more than the Buddha.
