Crusty... er... I mean Kronos is right 060 cards for the A2000 family have HD controllers. More importantly they have space for ram that's much faster than anything rideing the Zorro bus. Most allow 128MB.

Instead of the Bhudda, check out Individual Computers other product, the CatWeasel. I don't remember ATM if the CW mark 3 has IDE, but the mark 2 has 2 IDE controllers plus allowing you to use high density floppies. You can also add on fast serial ports and some other stuff.

Here at work I have an A2000 that was bought in 1987 and has been giving regualr service to the U.S. Federal Governement for fifteen years now. It has a GVP-M 060 card which allows use of both standard sims & GVP's oddball ones. With 128MB of ram, OS 3.1, a Catweasel, ethernet & Video Toaster, that is one mean Amiga!
