Once again, thank you to all who helped me in getting my X-Surf 100 & Rapid Road USB module to work. They are both working as a charm.

New project: I want to use a second SCSI2SD microSD which I bought just in case I screw the first one up  and I'l like to use that as a storage HDD. It is already sitting inside my external SCSI side car, with my CD-ROM.

I already tried inserting a formatted 32GB formatted with SFS in 2 partitions, readable but not bootable either of them. This didn't work, because of some unknown reason to me, the system is trying to boot from that external micro SD unit, so I got the pink screen asking for a Workbench disk. I didn't not boot from my internal SCSI2SD device.

This is my current device configuration:

So what do I need to do to to prepare a card and be used as a external storage HDD, and that my system continues booting from my internal SCSI2SD?

BTW, I find that formatting the micro SD suing Morphos3.9 and SFS is quite fast and convenient. I can post the guide here if anyone is interested.

Thank you in advance for any help

Do all of the devices show up in the early startup menu?

Change the boot priority of the external device to be after the internal drive, or just uncheck the bootable box in HDToolbox.  That'll stop it from trying to boot off of it!  ;)

Un-checking "bootable" not only stopped the computer from booting from the external SCSI2SD device, it stopped the computer from booting period.

I had to disconnect the external SCSI2SD device from the scsi cable to get the computer to boot again.....
