mmm, I found that this morning as I'm in Australia...

then researched it, and found the interface isn't scsi, or ide, its some special interface used only in that device...

handy...

How much is an A570 worth these days? considering it is the only way to get to use a CD-ROM with the A500 or A1000 in reality?

Its certainly not the only way.

I have an A590 that I've simply connected an external scsi cd (burner) to.

And I'm sure there are other ways too, IDE interface?

good day,
I think you've accidently added an extra 0 to the price.

no

You sure? It seems you have done it with all the prices, they are meant to be in  Australian dollars :)

would you like to buy - Amiga commodore a500 no box or manuals, A1010 3.5"  external disk drive no box or manuals, A570 in box with all manuals etc? if you  are interested in any of these let me know and i will post them up.

what revision motherboard is the A500?

I think he changed the subject? :o
