Alternate FileSystems
« on: June 27, 2003, 04:07:42 PM »
I was wondering if anyone had any advice/experience/warnings about using filesystems other than FFS, i.e PFS, SFS etc?

My system:

A1200 w/68030+68882+32MB
4xEIDE interface
IDE 4GB HD, 40x CD-Rom, ZIP 100
OS3.5 and DirOpus 5.82

Is it worth it, or are there too many compatibility issues?  (In particular, if I wanted to get a larger HD).

PFS (Professional File System)

SFS (Safe File System?)

and any others that I don't know about.
