Don't you meen the diod cable got a loose whire? The small cable that connect to the motherboard at the front and goes to the diods on the right of the keyboard?
If you remove the keyboard the diods should come of and you can solder the cable onto its solderpad again (the construktion of the A600 makes this a common problem).
