My guess is a 2MB chip and you switch between the 3 512KB ROM's... would have been nice if they also added a 1.2 ROM.

I take it's like with the dual ROM but with more leads to the switch.

There do exist a few 42pin kickstart switches but this is definitely not what this needs to operate.

Without a "kickstart switcher device" I wonder if it requires a A500 Rev8 motherboard or if pin 1 and 42 are to be outside the socket and Rev8 users need to bend out the pins.
