My BlizzPPC/040 did not fit at all but four 1.5Cm feets did the trick of lifting it so the cooler and fan would fit underneath and after cutting two square holes for the PPC and 040 coolers the rest of the trappdoor went on and it runs nicely. :-D

With my Blizz1260 the sittuation is about the same... 1.5Cm feets and a hole for the SIMM aswell as a round hole and on top of the hole is a 12V fan screwed on to keep the CPU cool and happy. 8-)

I've learned to live with the higher keyboard and a nice gell armrest does the trick for me for when I'm on my smaller Amigas. :-)

Sadly I don't have any coolingplate or it would have been used instead. A fan running at lower speed and/or with a swich might do the trick but with a 230W PC PSU right next to the the machine there's enough backnoice to muffle the extra sound the fan makes. ;-)

What mekanikly prevents the trapdoor from getting on... on the BPPC/040 it's the heatsink/fan, on the B1260 it's the simm (and the heat).
