I just want to confirm that the Blizzard1230 works just fine in original desctop nad with trapdoor on. I used to have such a lil thing and it worked like a charm. I would try get my hands on some 60ns SIMM's (FPM/EDO work just fine) if I was you cause it sounds to me like a RAM error. However if you use it together with 3.5" HD and external drives I would definitly recomend a heavier PSU (I used a 200W with my old system and later changed down to just an A500 PSU wich I sadly burned in only a few months. :/ ).
