Old Time Amiga Fan - Returning (with a question)
« on: April 04, 2003, 05:14:46 PM »
Ok... So I bought my first Amiga in 1985 and was  a HUGE fan until about 1994 when Commodore left me holding the bag with a brand new 3000 that was a lemon... :(

Anyway... In the past few months my love for the Amiga is back and I have  a few systems set up and I'm having a blast!

I'm surprised how much stuff I remember but one this is bugging me cause I can't figure out how I use to do it....

When you have games that are meant to be ran from the floppy... How do you copy them to your harddrive?  I dug out a bunch of old games that I know I had installed on my HD but can't remember exactly how to do it... I seem to rememeber editing the startup-sequence but not sure what I did...

2nd question... what is the best prog to use to edit stuff like that... I use to always just use EDIT and I got in... remembered how to list out tht script and EXIT but that's about it... hahaha

Thanks for your help!

Well as of right now I have a 600HD and a 4000.... I just recently boxed up a 3000 that I bought and it's on ebay (trying to help finance a Mediator for the 4000)

The only system that I never owned was a 1200... maybe I should remedy that.. ;)
